Preferred by locals, this beach is sandy with very few rocks. It is located in the tourist area of Kato Paphos, just a few metres off Poseidonos Avenue and 300 metres from Paphos Castle. Access to the beach is easy and there are signs with directions of its facilities. Water sports, sun bed and umbrella hire is available from mid April until the end of October. Lifeguards are on duty from 11am to 5.30pm during the same period.
There is a plethora of restaurants and accommodation facilities, including hotels and apartments nearby.
