AYIA NAPA- Ayia Napa Mayor Antonis Tsokkos died of a heart attack, a post mortem revealed on Tuesday.
State pathologist Nicolas Charalambous who carried out a post mortem at Larnaca General Hospital said:
“The death was the result of a heart attack on the grounds of a previous one. This means that a heart attack had occurred previously and yesterday’s one was the fatal one.”
Tsokkos’ funeral will be held at 2pm at Ayia Napa church on Wednesday. He died at his home on Monday morning, aged 60.
