LARNACA - Three British tourists accused of stabbing a British soldier to death during a fight in an Ayia Napa night club have pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter
Appearing before the Larnaca Criminal Court yesterday, defendants, 19-year-old Mohamed Abdulkadir Osman, and two 17-year-olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also pleaded not guilty to charges of carrying a concealed weapon and illegal possession and use of narcotics.
A switch-blade was recovered at the scene of the crime and 11 similar knives which the trio claimed they bought in Ayia Napa as souvenirs were found in their hotel room along with a small quantity of cannabis.
