NICOSIA - Minister of Finance Michalis Sarris will be in Moscow on Monday for talks with his Russian counterpart, Anton Germanovich Siluanov, on ways with which Russia could help the Republic of Cyprus overcome its financial problems.
Sarris, who departed for Brussels on Wednesday afternoon, told CNA that he should be back on Saturday and would be departing for Moscow on Sunday, where he had a scheduled meeting on Monday.

"There is, of course, a possibility that I may travel directly from Brussels," he added.
Asked if President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades would also be visiting Russia in the near future, Sarris said he was not aware of any such arrangement.
