LARNACA - Two men have been remanded for eight days for the third time at Larnaca court in connection with the murder of five men in Ayia Napa on June 23.
The defence agreed to the remand but said that they would object to any further attempts to have the two Greek nationals kept in custody.
The two suspects, Dimitris Mamalikopoulos and Anastasios Tsechilidis, were arrested in Athens and returned to Cyprus under a Greek arrest warrant.
They say that they were in Ayia Napa on holiday.
Police have still to find the 9mm murder weapon.
The five men, who worked security for a local businessman, were cut down in a hail of bullets in the centre of the resort.
