NICOSIA - Cyprus will facilitate the visa process for Ukrainian tourists, Minister of Foreign Affairs Erato Kozakou – Marcoullis has said.
In statements to CNA Marcoullis said that only Ukrainian citizens who are travelling to Cyprus from Ukraine will be able to apply via a new electronic visa process, adding that it will apply purely for tourist purposes.

Replying to a question whether the new process is expected to boost tourism from Ukraine to Cyprus, the Cypriot FM noted that tourist arrivals from the Ukraine have already greatly increased.
“Our aim is to double or even triple arrivals”, she said.

Asked whether it is the same type of visa process, which is in place for Russian tourists she replied positively.
