YERMASOGEIA - A little boy has undergone surgery after he and a friend were attacked by a Rottweiler and pit bull terrier apparently after entering a fenced area where the dogs were being kept.
According to CyBC radio, the incident happened on Sunday when the boys, aged nine and ten, went into the area where the dogs were kept. The boys managed to run away but one had to undergo surgery at a private clinic as a result of the attack.
Police investigations are continuing.
Pit pulls are on the list of dogs that are forbidden in Cyprus.
