 PAPHOS - Police are probing a number of thefts in the Paphos area.  Jewellery, including diamonds, worth €17 000 was stolen from apartment in Peyia, belonging to a 67-year-old Briton. The thieves broke down an aluminium door while hes was absent from his house.
Another Briton, also from in Peyia, told police that his sister’s home was broken into and two laptops and a small TV were stolen.
Meanwhile the Director of Civil Aviation at Paphos Airport, Androulla Christodoulou said that a glider worth €6,000 was stole in a break-in between December 2012 and February 23, at a Paphos airport warehouse.
