Nicosia -- House President Yiannakis Omirou will pay an official visit to Australia from February 6 to 12, heading an all-party delegation.
The visit takes place after the invitation of the President of the Senate John Hogg and the Speaker of the House of Representatives Peter Slipper.
According to an official announcement, the delegation will visit Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney and will have a series of contacts with political personalities at the federal and state level.
The delegation will also meet with members of the Cypriot community of Australia, in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney, as well as the Archbishop of Australia Stylianos. During its stay, the House delegation will also visit sites of cultural and historic interest.
