NICOSIA - Cyprus Airways will consult its unions Monday regarding the rescue plan for the airline drafted by Air France and KLM. The plan envisages job cuts of 400 people and a 10% cut in salaries for those remaining.
Many of those who lose their jobs are likely to be rehired by private investors who will take over parts of the airline.
Negotiations on compensation are likely to be tough.
