NICOSIA - The maximum retail price of a litre of milk will be capped at €1.14 including VAT from Monday, following a ministerial decree.
The wholesale price will be 1.32 a litre including VAT.
Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Neoclis Sylikiotis said that in recent days there had been several consultations with representatives of the production chain.
The proclamation will be made in the official gazette and is valid for 45 days.
