NICOSIA - Women will outnumber male voters in the presidential elections of February according to official figures released Monday.
There will be 545,180 entitled to vote with women numbering 276,559 while 268,621 men will be able to cast their ballot.
Young voters aged between 18 and 19 will number 15,146, with 7,708 men and 7,438 women.
At the other end of the scale there will be 80,810 voters over the age of 70, with 35,301 men and 45,509 women.
