Limassol: Police in Limassol are investigating three burglaries that occurred yesterday.
A police spokesman said that in the first incident a 47-year-old woman had reported that her home had been broken into between 5.10pm and 7.15pm on Saturday and that jewellery with an estimated value of 36,000 euros and 1,000 euros in cash was taken from her safe. In the second incident a 53-year-old man reported to police that his flat had been broken into between 9pm and 1am. The thieves took jewellery valued at around 20,000 euros and 4,000 euros in cash. In the third incident a 60-year-old man reported to police that his home had been broken into between 7pm and 9pm on Saturday evening and that cash and jewellery values at 18,250 euros had been stolen.
