NICOSIA - Cyprus Agriculture Minister Nicos Kougialis will be among EU Agriculture Ministers who meet in Dublin, May 27-28, to discuss about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), during an Informal Agriculture and Fisheries Council.
EU Ministers will discuss the four regulations of the new CAP concerning direct payments, the single common market organization, rural development and the number of paying agencies.
The Informal Council is taking place in the framework of the Irish EU Presidency.
