 NICOSIA -- Cypriot Member of Parliament Pambos Papageorgiou departs this Monday for London to attend an extraordinary meeting of the representatives of the British Isles and Mediterranean Region of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) to be held on February 26.

According to an official announcement issued here Saturday, Papageorgiou will attend the meeting in his capacity as a Regional Representative in CPA.

The meeting will discuss, inter alia, the results of the Regional Conference held at the Falkland Islands from 10 to 15 February, the international developments since the last meeting of the Executive Committee of the CPA in September 2012, as well as institutional and operational issues the International Executive Committee is dealing with in view of its Conference next March, the announcement concludes.
