NICOSIA - Cyprus Airways and Virgin Atlantic are expanding their codeshare cooperation to include connections through Heathrow to Manchester, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
A company press release said the new cooperation would particularly benefit Cypriot students studying in the cities. Disembarkation and boarding of passengers by the two companies through Heathrow would be through Terminal 1, it added.
The new codeshare to and from Manchester starts on March 31, for Edinburgh, it starts on April 5 and Aberdeen on April 9. Passengers will also have the option to interrupt their trip with a stay in London, using the same ticket.
