The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Alkis Baltas and featuring soloists Alexia Voulgaridou (soprano), Yiannis Christopoulos (tenor), will be peforming at the Markideon Theatre on Tuesday, February 14 - Valentine’s Day.
The programme will include Tchaikovsky’s ‘Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture,’ Puccini’s ‘Love Duet from La Bohème (1st Act,)’ Fauré’s ‘Pelléas and Mélisande Suite, Op. 80’ and Puccini’s ‘ Love Duet from Madame Butterfly (1st Act).’
There is a €12 entrance fee (reduced to €7 for 18-26 year-olds and pensioners) and with free entrance for those aged under 18. Tickets will be on sale at the Theatre box-office.
The Markideon Theatre is situated at 27, Andrea Geroudi St. .
The concert will be repeated in Nicosia on February 15.
