Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Limassol’s Municipal Philharmonic, this Wednesday, March 14 concert will take audiences on a journey through Greek songs of the 50s and 60s to today, featuring works of leading Greek composers including Hadjiidakis, Theodorakis, Savvopoulos and many others. The programme also includes Viennese walz and polka, as well as a tribute to internationally-acclaimed Cypriot composer Marios Tokkas, who was a member of the Limassol Munipality’s Philharmonic. The Philharmonic will be conducted by Thanasis Athanasiou.
