Limassol’s Rialto Theatre will at 8.30pm on Tuesday, April 3 be hosting a Holy Week-inspired concert entitled ‘Today, He is hung on wood’.
The evening will feature Byzantine anthems, known arias and Easter songs (Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Respighi, Mascagni), as well as passages relevant to Holy Week. The performance features tenor/cantor soloist Antonis Koutroupis, the Romanos o Melodos Byzantine Choir and narration by Diomides Koufteros.
