The Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra under the artistic direction of Ayis Ioannides will on Friday, April 27 be performing the a concert entitled ‘From Opera and beyond.’
Part of the 2012 Larnaca Festival of Classical Music, the concert’s programme includes excerpts from ‘Turandot’ (Puccini), ‘The Mastersingers of Nuremberg’ (Wagner), ‘The Sound of Music’ (Rodgers), ‘Carmina Burana’ (Orff), ‘Egmont ‘(Beethoven), ‘Carmen’ (Bizet) and more.
The concert is taking place at Larnaca Municipal Theatre at 8.30pm and entrance is free.
