This is 40km northeast of Paphos and is dedicated to Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate. It was founded in the 12th century although the present building dates from 1779. On August 15, the feat of the assumption, a solemn religious ceremony takes place. It produces some of Cyprus’s finest wines.
