A Europa Nostra award winner for restoration work carried out in 1977, this is on the banks of the Xeros River in the Diarizos Valley at Pentalia.
This central nave of the Panagia Tou Sinit Monastery dates back to the 16th century and is still in remarkably good condition mainly due to some excellent restoration work.  Considered to be one of the most important buildings of the Venetian period in Cyprus.You can take a guided tour and take photographs.
