Splash by the Beach
A bright, modern shop with seating areas both in women’s wear and upstairs in menswear that allow for a more luxurious shopping experience. Perhaps one of the most designer-led boutiques in Limassol, Splash by the Beach carries clothes by Givenchy, Gianfranco Ferré, Giambattista Valli, Marc Jacobs, Matthew Williamson and Temperley London, among others. The boutique is also strong on accessories, with bags by Mulberry, along with shoes and sunglasses. An extensive menswear range includes trendy collections by Marc Jacobs and Etro.

Splash
The sister shop to Splash by the Beach, Splash is a treasure trove of beautiful clothes and accessories. Designers carried by the store include Diane von Furstenburg, Milly and Michael Kors, while also offering pieces by Etro, Catherine Malandrino and Viktor & Rolf. Clothes are displayed according to look and colour, so that customers can easily navigate towards the rails that display the styles and colours they prefer. With a range of accessories, including bags by Luella, dotted around the store, you can always find something of interest.

Editori
Editori’s look is young and slightly edgy. By carrying arguably lesser-known brands which nonetheless produce quality and design-led clothing, the shop attracts a vibrant, young crowd. Designers carried by Editori include Hoss Intropia, Valentino Red, Tibi, Paul & Joe Sister, K Karl Lagerfeld and Antik Batik, as well as shoes by Ash. Clothes tend to be funkier than other designer shops, but you can still find the odd delicate and glamorous maxi gown for special occasions.

Pinko
Housed in an impressive glass-fronted shop, the Italian brand provides a sexy take on everyday wear. Simple separates such as shirts, T-shirts and palazzo pants are complemented this season by more elaborate brocade dresses and coats, and thick felt miniskirts in greens and yellows. Pinko also offers accessories to complete the look, from shoes to jewellery, bags and scarves.

Cara
Cara’s vibe is of serious fashion. The compact shop on Makarios Avenue nevertheless packs an impressive punch with wall-to-wall designers. Cara carries Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Jil Sander and Amanda Wakely. Among the beautifully intricate clothes, you are still able to find great fitting jeans and loose dresses for everyday wear, such as jeans by Marc by Marc Jacobs, DKNY knits and airy dresses, and separates by Vanessa Bruno Athé. Cara also provides for men, with a menswear section that is well-stock in jeans, shirts and T-shirts by designers Moschino and D&G, among others.

Cara
As the sister accessories boutique, Cara at Maximos Plaza offers the right accessory for your outfit of choice. The dark wood-panelled shop offers an extensive range of designers, such as Christian Lacroix, Celine, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan and Pedro Garcia. This season, Cara offers knee-high leather boots, sturdy shoe-boots and elaborate heels for the evening, as well as clutches, totes and roomy bags.

Mple
Mple promotes a fashion aesthetic that is not very typical of what we usually see in Cyprus. Highly eclectic and original, it nonetheless has many fans that enjoy a different perspective on fashion. Its all-white exterior and interior perfectly frames the almost architectural designs of Vivienne Westwood, Comme de Garçon, Plein Sud, Junya Watanabe, Marios Schwab, Y-3 and High. Menswear also includes well-crafted pieces from High, as well as denims and shirts by Stone Island, with new menswear clothing by Comme de Garçon expected in the summer.

Crème Noir
Crème Noir is a boutique for true shoe and handbag lovers. This is not the place to go if you want a pair of sensible flats, but where fantasy and craftsmanship in intricate shoe designs are celebrated. Although small in size, Planéte is stacked with designer goods such as quirky Cacharel garments, dependable wardrobe basics by Joseph and Theory, colourful Issa dresses, and elaborate pieces by Lavender Label Vera Wang. The shop also provides Sergio Rossi shoes and, now in season, boots, as well as sparkly Gina shoes that add pizzazz to any outfit.

Fior
Fior is one of the best-known shoe shops in Limassol that carries covetable, designer brands. Located in the tourist area of town, the shop is frequented by locals and tourists alike, with a sizeable portion of its clientele made up of expatriates. Designer brands that Fior offers include Jimmy Choo shoes and bags, extravagant designs by Giuseppe Zanotti and elegant heels by Vicini.

Cube
Cube is always full of interesting trinkets, designer shoes, the latest bags and fashion scarves. Designers carried at the airy shop for shoes and bags include Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Viktor & Rolf, Alexander McQueen and Castaner. Bags are also available by Juicy Couture and local designer Joanna Lucas. Cube also offers a great selection of evening bags and clutches in sparkly golds and silvers. Great for gifts is the shop’s extensive jewellery collection, which includes pieces by Lanvin and Erickson Beamon, while also carrying a selective range of garments by fashion-forward label Lanvin.

Sessil
This spacious shop offers a variety of shoes and bags for any occasion. Colourful Missoni shoes and bags in the designer’s signature print and weave are displayed alongside sophisticated Rodo designs for evening shoes and bags. Sessil also carries funkier designs by Sebastian as well as more mainstream footwear and bags by Versus. Upstairs, men’s shoes and bags are displayed, among which D&G’s signature style.

The minimalist Amicci shop in Limassol’s Maximos Plaza offers an array of designer goods, including clothing and accessories by Stella McCartney, Yves Saint Laurent and Chloe.

La Perla
The well-known French luxury lingerie provider has brought exquisite intimates to the Cyprus market. Beautifully designed underwear in silks and cottons are the fashion house’s forte, but you may also find wonderful nightwear and swimwear for the summer. La Perla also offers a limited but exquisite line of clothing, characterised by strong design and great fabrics.

MaxMara
The Italian staple for effortless style and elegance, MaxMara provides quality clothing that will last for years. Best known for its beautifully-made warm coats for winter, the fashion house provides a complete wardrobe solution for any woman, from office suits and blouses, to evening dresses, as well as relaxed, sportier clothes for the weekend. If you see something you like, you should seriously think about buying because more often than not, it’s not there in your size when you go back.

Timinis is well-known in Limassol as the place to go for smart clothing. Although traditionally a menswear shop, Timinis also offers an extensive collection of smart-casual clothing for women, with Burberry, Hugo Boss and Armani Jeans collections. Also available are a number of accessories, bags and shoes for women, with low and high-heeled pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo. Menswear includes clothes by D&G, Polo Ralph Lauren and Paul & Shark, and smart suits by Giorgio Armani and Canali, among others. Also available are shoes and bags for men.

The well-known Italian designer brand has its stand-alone shop on Limassol’s Makarios Avenue. Bright and airy, the Fendi shop offers, as would be expected, an extensive collection of bags, shoes and accessories for women in the recognisable Fendi logo as well as in more discreet designs. Also available are accessories for men as well as very cute booties for babies. The shop also carries a small range of Fendi clothing, including winter coats, evening tops and dresses.

Offering a slightly hipper bent to how we dress, Mint’s refreshing take on fashion is the result of carrying mainly upcoming American brands, including Alice & Olivia, Elizabeth & James, American Retro, Manoush, Foley & Corinna, Ashish, Ya-Ya, Robert Rodriguez and Madison Marcus, among others. The Italian denim and casual clothing company provides good quality jeans and interesting separates for a contemporary look. A range of T-shirts, skirts and dresses are available this season for women in dove grey and soft pink, which favourably contrasts with the ink-blue denim. The Replay store in Limassol provides clothing for men, women and children, as well as accessories such as shoes, bags and belts.

The French fashion house provides decidedly chic, feminine clothes. The shop, although compact, is well stocked with items that exude French elegance.
