Dress up warmly and wear comfortable shoes if you go along to see Thoc’s Experimental Stage’s new play, ‘Diaboliad’ based on the book of the same name by the Russian author Mikhail Bulgakov.
Premiering on Wednesday, January 18, the site-specefic play is in Greek and will take audiences in and around the theatre building. ‘Diaboliad’ is made up of five, irreverent, satirical and imaginative stories. They display Bulgakov's breathtaking stylistic range, moving at dizzying speed from grotesque satire to science fiction, from the plainest realism to the most madcap fantasy. It is directed by Athena Kasiou.
‘Diaboliad’ will be performed at Thoc’s New Theatre, 9, Gregori Afxentiou St. Tickets are priced at €12. Call the theatre box-office on from 6.15pm on performance nights or Thoc’s Central Box-office on . Performances will take place at 8.30pm every Wednesday until February 22.
