Lukas Bärfuss’ intriguing ‘Four Erotic Portraits’ will be the first play to be performed at a new Nicosia theatre venue, Art Space Kat'oikon.
Premiering on Wednesday, February 8, the Greek-language play has been adapted and directed by Sotos Stavrakis who also stars.
The plot is centred around four characters: a painter married to a doctor and a successful lawyer with a mentally unbalanced wife. The two couples are brought together by fate. Should infidelity be forgiven?
The sets and costumes are by Lia Vogiatzis and music by Marios Christou.
Joining Stavrakis on stage are Vasiliki Kypraiou, Panagiota Monia, Michalis Makris, and Andreas Koutsoumpos.
The play will be put on at 8.30pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until March 8 although there will be no performance on Friday, February 10. Tickets are priced at €12.
Art Space Kat'oikon is situated at 47, Pericleous St., Old Nicosia. .
