A comedy by Eric Idle (Monty Python) translated and adapted by Thanasis Papathanasiou and Michalis Repas is the Satirco Theatre’s new production, premiering on Saturday, March 3 The author, in a simple manner, but always through the familiar penetrating humour of Monty Python, ridicules all those who try by all means to retain power but also those who are hiding behind populist slogans, essentially supporting the authority that they supposedly oppose. This Greek adaptation is directed by Marianna Kafkaridou.
Performances will follow every Saturday, at 8.30pm and Sunday, at 6.30pm, at the Vladimiros Kafkarides Cultural Centre, 11 - 15 Vladimiros Kafkarides St., Aglandjia. Tickets are priced at €12. .
