A play by Andreas Koukkides and directed by Costas Demetriou, ‘The Health Plan’ is amongst Thoc’s newest productions.
A boy is born with a problem of priapism (his penis is in a state of permanent erection) and his parents, who are ordinary villagers, are pinning their hopes on the passing of the bill for the General Health Scheme for the solution of the problem. The boy comes of age with the "problem" still troubling the youngster and his parents, while the General Health Scheme is still debated.
At Larnaca Municipal Theatre on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8 and 9. The curtain goes up at 8.30pm and there is a €12 entrance fee. .
