Thoc’s New Stage presents popular Scandinavian playwright Lars Noren’s ‘Night is Mother to the Day’ at the Rialto Theatre on Thursday, May 10.
In the close quarters of a failing, family-run hotel in the provinces, empty of guests on a day of inventory, the father is a dipsomaniac, the mother is suicidal, the older son collects dead birds and the younger son is strange, very strange. He stalls the first five minutes of the play by posing narcissistically in front of a mirror and later reveals that he has a knife fetish. All four are potential murderers...
The performance - in Greek - will take place at 8.30pm. Tickets are priced at €12.
